About Us
Touch of Paradise Designs
On January 1st 2000, Touch of Paradise Designs was conceived out of our desire and passion to create beautiful and lasting landscapes. Within a few short months, our first opportunity to install a water garden was before us. Taking the time to educate ourselves through training seminars, training DVD’s and literature, we we’re ready to “Take the Plunge” into our first pond project. Our first pond was small. It only measured 6 foot wide and 8 feet long with a 5 foot stream and a 2 foot tall waterfall and landscape berm was also constructed. Our first job took us four days to complete, however it was the most fun we have ever experienced in designing and installing a landscape job.
A few short years later we decided to “Jump” in with both feet and go full time with water gardens. We opened our first Retail Showroom. It was a small 450 square foot office with 150 feet of road frontage on Hwy 441 in Ocala. It only took us a short amount of time before we were out of space. So we rented the other 450 square feet of office space and additional 150 feet road frontage next to our office. We busted down the wall and moved our pond kits in. Things were great until we ran out of room again and we found ourselves managing 2 locations. The second location was our “Rock Yard” where we stored our rock, boulders and aquatic plants.
In the late Fall of 2007 we moved both of our locations to were we are now. We Love our Shop and location because we can better serve our Loyal Customers. Our location on Hwy 441 is Central and easy for people to come visit us from Gainesville, Daytona, Crystal River, Ocala, The Villages, Orlando and Tampa. In the store we stock Submersible Pumps, Pond Kits, Vanishing Falls Kits, Vanishing Fountain Kits, Podineer Water Treatments, Underwater lights, Koi and Koi Food.
